This page explains what data Souq Joha collects, what we use it for and how you control it.

What we collect

• Your mobile number, name, city and profile photo if you add one.
• Your ads and their photos, and your chats with buyers and sellers.
• Your approximate location, if you allow it, to pick your city and show nearby ads.
• Device data and a notification token to send you alerts.
• If you verify your account: ID and selfie photos (see the verification policy).
• Payments are processed by Paymob; we never store your card details.

How we use it

• To run your account, publish your ads and deliver your messages.
• To protect users from fraud and ads that break the rules.
• To notify you about messages, offers and price drops; you can turn these off in settings.

Who sees your data

• People see your name, city, ads and ratings.
• Your number is only shown after you accept an offer or choose to show it.
• Moderators only read a chat when it has been reported.
• We never sell your data.

Where and how long

• Data is stored on servers in Germany, with encrypted backups.
• Deleted accounts are erased for good after 30 days.

Your rights

• Edit your data or delete your account at any time: Account → Settings → Delete account.
